This white rice is cultivated by Mr. Chiu, a farmer from Chishang, Taitung, who was the winner of the first national rice quality competition in Taiwan. The field is located at high altitude, with rich soil and sufficient sunshine. Growing in a pure natural environment makes the rice crystal clear, flavourful, with pleasantly chewy texture, is well-loved by the public.
